Futures for Kids PDF Print E-mail

Futures for Kids is a non-profit organization that gives students access to an online career exploration program that can help them discover possibilities for a future career. After taking a simple assessment, students can view a list of the top 40 careers that fit with their skills and personality. Then, they can talk to experienced professionals through online discussion boards, learn what classes to take, and can even find out what an average day is like for over 500 careers.

F4K can also help students complete their four-year graduation plan and the North Carolina Graduation Project by providing access to background checked virtual mentors, as well as providing a personalized online portfolio. Parents can be actively involved in helping their child explore career options and select high school-specific courses. Visit http://www.f4k.org/ for more information.
